Overview
Production-grade, WhatsApp-style messaging platform with real-time 1:1 and group chat on Actix Web (actor model) + WebSockets. Signal-inspired E2EE with X25519 key exchange and AES-256-GCM (the server stores ciphertext only), WebRTC voice/video calling through a self-hosted TURN server, a cross-platform Android & desktop client in Tauri + Leptos, message states, typing indicators, presence, S3-compatible encrypted media via pre-signed URLs, and JWT auth with refresh-token rotation and rate limiting. Solo project end-to-end.
